Why ‘Strengths’ is the silver bullet for your organisation

Strengths-based coaching helps you to explore gaps in skill, performance, knowledge, and relational influence. It looks at gaps as “fields of opportunity” for cultivating new behaviours, taking calculated risks, ultimately yielding greater influence and positive impact.

The Gallup organisation has conducted research around the globe to provide data to understand our natural talents, the building blocks for our strengths. The people in the study reported using their strengths only 20% of their time at work. What might be possible for you and your team if you flipped this statistic and used your strengths 80% or more of the time?



Clifton Strengths is a tool that I trust and frames my coaching interventions. When working with teams I can align their individual strengths together, so that within the team, all of the components are enhanced and elevated through powerful partnerships..


People who focus on using their strengths are three times more likely to report having an excellent quality of life. They are six times more likely to be engaged in their jobs. People who learn to use their strengths every day have 7.8% greater productivity. Teams who receive strengths feedback have 8.9% greater profitability.

People who can convert their naturally occurring talents to become consciously employed strengths have evidenced:

1) Energised and motivated towards going to work

2) Have more positive than negative interactions with co-workers

3) Improved customer relations

4) Recommend their organisation to friends looking for employment opportunities

5) Achieve more on a daily basis, finding greater productivity

6) Have more positive, creative, and innovative moments
